Michael and Sarah move to Berlin

I know that at Christmas we told everyone that we're moving (have now moved) to Berlin. But it just occurred to me that I may not have sent the address of our Germany blog out to the family. So for those of you who still read this blog and may be interested in reading about our adventures in Berlin, please go to deutschland.

The Night Before Christmas Poem

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Every creature was stirring, even Max was about.
The stockings were hung by the gas fireplace with care,
In hopes that the Repucci/Reppucci clan soon would be here.

The children were gathered all in the living room,
With visions of the grab being better than a broom.
And Jan in her new bargain outfit and I in my jeans,
Had just settled ourselves for all the up coming scenes.

When out of the streets there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the kitchen to see what's the matter.
Away to the stairs I ran like a deer,
Tore open the door and the Aunts were all there.

The food started piling up, a feast for the hoards
Gave the luster of smells that came right through the doors.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But four great Aunts fighting for a chair.

With the house so all warm and cozy inside
I knew in a moment they would all soon arrive.
More rapid than eagles their coursers they came,
And I whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

"Now Stephanie! Now, Charlie! Now Nicky, and Sam
Come in Mario, Roberta, Roger and Maryanne!
To the top of the stairs! To the kitchen they flow!
Now Manga! Manga! Watch the food go!"

Later that evening when all were so full
And after they talked up all of that bull.
They huddled with their numbers and hoped for the best
Each wanting their pick the hell with the rest.

After getting their do and yawns all around,
They sprang to there feet with coats to be found.
As they dashed out the door still all in clear sight,
Jan and I yelled "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good-Night!"
